O Κώστας Γαβαλάκης γεννήθηκε το 1984 και μεγάλωσε στην Αθήνα. Από μικρή ηλικία άρχισε να ενδιαφέρεται για την ηλεκτρονική μουσική, ιδιαίτερα την uplifting trance, η οποία ήταν αρκετά δημοφιλής την εποχή εκείνη. Το 1999 έκανε τα πρώτα του βήματα στον κόσμο της σύνθεσης. Μαζί με το φίλο του Θοδωρή Τζίμα δημιούργησαν ένα group με το όνομα "Darma", με το οποίο κυκλοφόρησαν δύο κομμάτια στη συλλογή Melodic Morning I το 2000, το Victory και το Elite. Ως το τέλος του 2003 είχαν ήδη κυκλοφορήσει 15 κομμάτια σε πολύ γνωστές και αγαπημένες συλλογές (Trance Wars, Melodic Morning, Transistance) και είχαν παρουσιάσει DJ sets σε όλη την Ελλάδα, μπροστά σε χιλιάδες άτομα. Kostas Gavalakis was born in 1984 and raised in Athens. At an early age he got interested in electronic music, especially in uplifting trance, which was very popular back then. In 1999, he started taking his first steps in the world of composing. Along with his friend Thodoris Tzimas they created a group under the name "Darma". They released their first two tracks, "Victory" and "Elite", in 2000 (Melodic Morning I). By the end of 2003 they had already released 15 tracks in various well-known uplifting trance compilations, such as Trance Wars, Melodic Morning and Transistance. They have presented many DJ sets all over Greece, in front of thousands of people. This is a personal profile of Kostas regarding uplifting.
