Nikos Liatsikas was born 1972 in Athens(GREECE). My love for the music was there from my teenage years playing as a DJ at school events. Subsequent round 1988 was interested in electronic music,the history of Liquid Love began in1992 with a journey to Goa, and after to London in 1993.At this time psychedelic trance was already making an impression on the electronic dance scene, but in his homeland of Greece, the sound was still unknown.
On the 28th January 1994 the first Liquid Love party took place, in Alepohori at Indios beach club with the first international guest to bring psy-trance music to Athens,Dj Andre (TIP records).This party was a great success,and was the beginning for Liquid Love and the psy-trance scene in Greece.Within the year to follow, Liquid Love was host to some of the most acclaimed Djs and artists such as:James Monroe,Dominic Lamb,George Barker (Flying Rhino),Max and Mauri (Etnica-Pleiadians) ,Graham Wood,Andre,Dimitri Nakov(TIP records),Joti Sidhu (Psychaos),Riktam & Bansi (G.M.S.),Serge Souque (The Antidote-Total Eclipse),Franco (Lotus Omega),Gabe (Wrecked Machines),Sid shanti,Kristian Thinning Andersen(Elysium),Juno Reactor, Mark Allen,Xavier Morel,Dino Psaras,Sven Looping,Mack Yosh,Pan Papason,UX and many more. Iraklis Mindphaser started djing in 1991 playing breakbeat and techno from vinyl records in small Athens parties. In 1992 he played at his first big party,Special Grooves of DJs(800 people open air party). In 1994 he created his first party team,called Rave Crew,with whom he organised a number of parties. By the end of 1996,after finishing a sound engineering school,he started working for Floorfiller Productions in the production department.Apart from the valuable knowledge he gained,he also had the opportunity to play with famous dj’s like Paul Oakenfold,Sasha,Nick Warren,Alex Neri(Planetfunk),Dave Ralph etc. During the years 1997-8 he played in the biggest Athenian clubs (+Soda, Camel, Playroom) and was resident DJ of the Cream and Renaissance parties(popular London based parties)that took place in Greece for the first time(Corfu, Crete, Athens, Salonica). In 1998 he started Mindphaser Music Trips,from which he got his nickname. Greg Staikos was born in Athens the early 70s. His interest in music first arose while he was 10. Six years of seeking for new streams always in the margin of the scene, and then started mixing in public. At the same time another need was the radio producing. So, the 90’s find him as a pioneer of electronic music with performances at the most underground parties and clubs in Greece (trancemedia, sunrise zone residency, well known private open-air trance parties) and radio producer in the most famous underground music radio stations (Space, Life fm , Nrg fm). During 4 years his radio show ‘Mix Down’ on LifeFm was the one with the biggest audience giving a chance to interview and perform together with the most famous artists of the scene since early 90’s (Morales, J.Wink, C.J. Bolland. Goa Gill, Astral Projection, Tsuyioshi and many more). At that time started releasing his cds containing some of his personal tracks (cd compilations: astral trance vol I, II, trance experience 4, trance xpress vol 2,3,4, novatec tunes). At the year 2000 his 1st personal album with the project L.O.S. is released. The 00’s is the decade of experimenting So performances vary from dark side of trance to 80’s and influences from all his music culture. Always follows the confirmation that there is only one way of expression that being against the flow and keep it underground, being in the background and always avant-guard. From all that way at the dance scene at the beginning of year 2010 emanates Life892.com Webradio. He's back to the psytrance scene and he's back to stay 4 good this time playing the best psytrance n goatrance tunes once again and producing his own music as "SHIVARATRI".. Story keeps rolling..
